CPOE/eMAR Training Specialist

Optimus EMR^TM, Inc. (OEMR) is an innovative technology company delivering a full Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to the Post Acute industry. We are currently seeking individuals with a strong background in clinical care, medical records, and software training. The CPOE/eMAR Training Specialist is the primary training contact for all onsite training of the OEMR CPOE/eMAR system. Position requires a solid background in nursing, EMR, or a related clinical field.

Position description:

• Development and coordination of client site training schedule for PO/eMAR installations and implementations. This includes remote and onsite training.
• Coordinate directly with the client all training requirements, schedules and setups at customer site.
• Perform workflow evaluations and provide recommendations
• Develop training curriculum and materials as required.
• Conduct training of client site staff in classroom settings and one—on—one.
• Travel to customer sites and assist facility in go live phase of PO/e—MAR process.
• Track and audit customer training effectiveness and proficiency throughout PO/e—MAR implementation process.
• Provide feedback to Director on customer and product enhancement opportunities.
• Provide required status reports, deliverables and training Results.
• Provide product training for all Optimus personnel on the PO/eMAR functionality, as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in clinical field or strong work experience in a related field.
• Software system and healthcare information system experience desirable .
• Strong training background .
• Strong written and verbal communication skills .
• Must have proven organizational skills with the ability to multi—task
• Ability to communicate with multiple levels of healthcare professionals and management .
• Long Term Care experience a plus.
• Must be a detail—oriented team player with the patience and desire to train and problem solve.
• Experienced traveler a plus.
