The Optimus Electronic Control Center (“eCC”) is an exciting new Executive Digital
Dashboard for Senior Executives, Administration, and Managers. It provides “finger tip”
information and control of the key areas needed to effectively manage your facility.
Management and staff alike now have a tool that gives them a complete view of the facilities
performance from their desktop, including user defined thresholds to alert individuals of
potential problem areas.
The eCC is comprised of several Graphical Human Interfaces or “Information Panels” that
provide fingertip information, alerts, analytic reports (graphs and charts) regarding
the following global areas:
- Census Information
- Incidents, Accidents, and Injuries
- Incomplete Clinical Data and Documentation
- Medication Passes (eMAR) and Computerized Physician Orders (CPOE)
- Quality Indicators
- RUGS and Medicaid Case Mix Scores
- MDS Warnings
- Clinical Exceptions, Conflicts, and Illogicals
The eCC is a powerful new tool which gives Senior Executives and Managers the ability to
see real-time information with which to make operational decisions, analyze data, and
provide Administration with the highest level of Operational Controls possible.
Optimus EMR Users now set up their personal eCC Screens so that each Executive can choose
which Information Panels are important to them in their daily management of the facility.
This becomes their individual start-up screen, giving each user the complete visibility of
the areas for which they are responsible for.
Whether an Administrator managing census and case mix scores, a DON keeping tabs on QIs and
Incidents, or a Charge Nurse monitoring chart completion, the eCC is the first system to give
your management team the real time and accurate information they need to effectively manage
your facility’s performance.
Optimus EMR Users can also drill down to the specific assessment or documentation that supports
each area of the eCC simply by clicking on the item in the eCC Information Panels. This is a
fantastic way for Optimus EMR Users to retrieve specific real-time information from the robust
Optimus EMR System.
