The Optimus EMR^TM System’s user-friendly and intelligent screens can be securely accessed from any computer with a browser.

The Optimus EMR^TM system architecture is the perfect next-generation technology for organizations and chains all of sizes. Optimus EMR^TM has engineered a unique safety or "redundancy" feature into the Optimus EMR^TM System by employing an optional "Evergreen Appliance" in the facility to ensure continued system operation by clinical staff even in the event of a prolonged internet outage. This is an important and unique feature only available with the Optimus EMR^TM System. Optimus EMR^TM understands that with a true EMR system, the facility cannot "go down" or revert to paper records. We allow mission-critical activities to continue even in the absence of a live internet connection, thus preventing the facility from having to go back to paper and possibly lose important data and the related reimbursement.

Optimus EMR Hosting Services and Software as a Service (SaaS)
Optimus EMR^TM offers complete application hosting services, including remote access, data backups, redundancy for mission-critical application support, and disaster recovery services, which eliminates the need for the facility to maintain a complicated and expensive IT environment.

Optimus EMR^TM utilizes a SAS 70 Type II certified data center for its hosting services. The actual hosting services are provided by a third party from multiple sites, with complete redundancies for connectivity, power, HVAC, and operation.

SaaS allows each subscriber or end user to obtain the functionality of the most powerful and robust solution at the lowest possible cost. Security with HIPAA and AHIMA Compliance
Secured access through the unique smart staff ID two part sign-on process allows managers to grant permission-based access and functional controls that are fully compliant with HIPAA regulations and provide a complete audit trail with electronic signatures. For medical providers and their electronic medical record systems, the starting point for the security and privacy of medical records and compliance is adhering to HIPAA requirements and good business practices. Optimus EMR^TM has gone to great lengths to ensure full compliance with HIPAA and the American Health Information Management Association’s (AHIMA) standards and recommendations for electronic signatures and maintaining electronic medical records.
