The Optimus EMR Therapy Module provides complete electronic charting to therapists. Our Therapy Module is
fully integrated with the Optimus EMR System. Now for the first time, Therapists using the Optimus
Therapy Module have full and real-time access to the residents entire EMR and “eChart”, providing instant
clinical information to support the appropriate resident therapy decisions. All Therapists'
documentations automatically flow to the pertinent parts of the MDS, resident chart, EMR System,
and to a multitude of valuable reports.

Nursing staff using the Optimus EMR and Therapy Systems now have real-time access to all of the
Therapists notes, evaluation, and treatments. This provides facility management with powerful information
to improve resident care and resident outcomes, and also to optimize reimbursement for Medicare A&B,
and Medicaid in case-mix reimbursement states.

Daily & Weekly notes are used to record the progress of the resident. They are recorded in the S.O.A.P.
format (Subjective, Objective, Assessment & Plan of Care). Much of the Therapy progress notes, is data
brought forward from the assessment with the ability to restate goals. In addition the amount of time
spent on therapy and the HCPC code used for billing is selected here. The therapist can also enter a
narrative about the activities performed during therapy. The notes are additional records in the same
database with the evaluation except they are marked as notes.

Optimus EMR, Inc. has engineered the Therapy Module to be as Automated as possible, similar to the way we
engineer automation into the entire Optimus EMR System. The result is automatic data flow to the MDS,
Reports, and to billing/financial system.
